Literature Text

Keep dreaming and watch your world fly by
Keep your dying memories
And make new ones in fantasy

Keep dreaming and watch everyone walk away
Sit yourself alone and think of everyone that could be
Forge new friendships from vivid imagination

Dream your days away
Dream your friends away
Dream away all that you love

But you'll die alone
Because that's the price you pay
When you dream your life away
:) I dream too much, what I can be, should be, want to be.

Gonna shut up now.

First of all I just want to say how eloquently this poem flows. I feel as if when reading this poem I am reading about my own life.
The topic you've chosen for this poem is one often approached by poets but you have given it a new light. Most of the time dreams are synonymous with joy, and laughter, with imagination, and bright futures. However here you have given a darker twist. Similar to the "Be careful what you wish for" complex, this sings to a similar note, defining that everything in life costs, even your dreams.
The way you've rhymed key words in this poem and spaced out the rhyme makes the poem flow perfectly allowing for that "perfect, dream-like" effect to compliment the theme of the poem.
The fact that you've taken such a common topic, with such a simplicity, and added so many layers, shows the depth and skill you have at writing.
By far one of the best poems I've read, and definitely one of my favorites. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
Keep up the amazing writing.
