She told me I lit the sky alight
And so I burned the sky 'til it
exploded
and the animals choked on
the black ash and humans'
chalked lungs spewed curses
at god and monsters,

The plants, they burned,
turned ashen at my grace,
their life giver and destroyer

I chalked the world in dust
and death,
Scattered skeletons like lost
puppets and built mountains
to my destruction.
